Royal Hall of Industries (next door to The Hordern Pavilion) is situated within the Moore Park Precinct next to the Entertainment Quarter and Fox Studios Australia, only 10 minutes from the Sydney CBD and 15 minutes from the airport. The Royal Exhibition Building is located just north of Melbourne's CBD, next to the Melbourne Museum in Carlton Gardens. Entry via Nicholson Street and the entrance opposite the museum. View google map »

Disability Access
The Royal Hall of Industries in Sydney and Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne are both wheelchair accessible. Both events are contained to ground level only.

Public Transport Options

339 bus service from Central, Wynyard or Town Hall stations direct to Fox Studios.
Frequent bus services from Town Hall, Bondi Junction and Wynyard stations run along Moore Park Road or Anzac Parade and stop close to Fox Studios Australia.
The closest train station to Moore Park is Central. Sydney Buses operate regular services from Central to Moore Park.

Ample bicycle parking is available outside the venue.


Local bicycle facilities include bike lanes on Rathdowne St and Canning St. There is also a shared pedestrian/bike path on Nicholson St. Bicycle racks on the plaza provide ample bike parking just outside the front door.

Car parking is available in the Entertainment Quarter multi-deck car park at the following rates. Entry is via Lang Road, off Anzac Parade, Moore Park.
0-2 hours - FREE
2-3 hours - $6
3-4 hours - $10
4-5 hours - $14
5-6 hours - $18
6 + hours and maximum daily rate and lost ticket $25
Entry after 6pm is at an evening flat rate $7


The Melbourne Museum undercover car park is open from 6.00am to midnight daily.
Enter via Rathdowne Street or Nicholson Street. Designated disabled parking is available on level P2 adjacent to the lifts.

Week day rate: $10.00 for the first hour with a maximum day rate of $40.
Weekend rate: $16.00 flat rate per day.

All payment options are accepted.
Many of the stallholders at The Big Design Market will have Eftpos and Credit Card facilities.

There are several ATM machines located inside the Royal Exhibition Building and the Royal Hall of Industries.

Toilets are located at the back of the venue in the far right corner on the basement level, accessed via stairs. Wheelchair and pram accessible toilets are located next to the main catering area which is located on the left-hand side of the venue.


Toilets are located within the venue on the at the Rathdowne St end of the building on the southern side and at the Nicholson St end of the building on the southern side. Wheelchair accessible toilets are available in both locations.

Baby change Facilities
Baby change facilities are located on the ground floor next to the catering area next to the wheelchair accessible toilets.


A baby change room is located next to the women's toilets at the Rathdowne St end of the building on the southern side. There are additional change facilities located in the disabled toilet located at the Nicholson St end of the building on the southern side.
Baby change tables and running water are provided.

Parents lounge
A private lounge area will be available for parents with babies at both venues in Sydney and Melbourne. A microwave is provided for bottle warming. Staff at the information desk can provide directions to facitilities available to visitors within the venue
