ABOUT THE BIG DESIGN MARKET
The Big Design Market is the ultimate Christmas shopping destination for people who value original design and ethical production across homewares, textiles, fashion, stationery, lifestyle products and kids toys. The event provides a unique platform for independent design businesses to launch new brands, as well as showcase new ranges within existing brands, to a broad audience.
Along with the thousands of distinctive, exclusive goods to buy, The Big Design Market provides a beautiful and relaxed shopping environment featuring wide aisles, lounge areas, exceptional food and drinks along with special activations for visitors to enjoy.
The Big Design Market is seeking applications from independent design businesses whose products are contemporary and original with a high standard of presentation. The selection committee gives preference to applicants whose products are created using sustainable and/or local materials along with ethical manufacturing methods. Applicants launching new products and those who are not seen regularly at other markets are highly regarded.
Both the Sydney and Melbourne events are curated and as such each application will be assessed individually.
